Discover Molos

Molos in 1 County Rd 682, Weehawken Township, NJ 07086, United States, is one of those spots that instantly makes you feel at home the moment you walk through the door. From my first visit, I was struck by the warm, welcoming vibe that flows throughout the restaurant. The staff greet you like an old friend, and the decor strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy charm. It’s the kind of place where you can linger over a meal without feeling rushed, which immediately sets it apart from the usual dining options in the area.

The menu at Molos is a delightful journey through carefully crafted dishes. On my last visit, I tried their signature lamb chops, which were perfectly seasoned and grilled to a tender, juicy finish. The combination of Mediterranean-inspired flavors with locally sourced ingredients creates a harmony that keeps diners coming back. Even simple dishes like their fresh Greek salad feel elevated with crisp vegetables, tangy feta, and just the right drizzle of olive oil. I remember noting how every dish seemed to have a story behind it-whether it’s the choice of spices, the freshness of the seafood, or the artisanal breads baked in-house.

One of the things that stands out about Molos is its commitment to quality and consistency. According to recent data from the National Restaurant Association, establishments that focus on ingredient sourcing and culinary craftsmanship see significantly higher customer satisfaction, and Molos is a prime example of that in action. Each plate that comes out of the kitchen reflects a deep understanding of flavor balance and presentation, which demonstrates both expertise and professionalism. The chef, known in local culinary circles, often engages with guests, sharing insights on how certain traditional recipes have been adapted for modern palates.

The atmosphere at Molos is lively but never overwhelming. On weekends, the restaurant tends to fill up quickly, which speaks volumes about its reputation in Weehawken Township. Diners often mention the seamless service and attentive staff in reviews, and in my experience, this holds true. Watching the team coordinate behind the scenes, it’s clear there’s a well-structured process to ensure everyone’s experience feels personal and unhurried. From the way drinks are poured to the timing of courses, every detail reflects thoughtful planning and a desire to create memorable dining moments.

Another aspect that makes Molos notable is its location at 1 County Rd 682, offering easy access while maintaining a tucked-away charm that feels like a hidden gem. The surroundings contribute to the overall experience, with views of the township adding a relaxed, almost scenic backdrop to a meal. Many locals and visitors alike have praised how the location blends convenience with an inviting ambiance, making it suitable for both casual lunches and special dinner outings.

Desserts at Molos are equally impressive. On a visit last summer, I tried a honey-soaked baklava that managed to be both flaky and rich without being overly sweet. Each dessert showcases attention to detail, combining classic techniques with innovative touches. Whether you’re there for brunch, dinner, or a celebratory meal, the options leave a lasting impression, and the flavors stay vivid in your memory.

Overall, dining at Molos feels like a personal experience crafted with care and expertise. The combination of thoughtfully prepared food, welcoming staff, and a location that balances accessibility with charm makes it a standout destination. Regular patrons often remark on how the restaurant maintains a level of consistency that builds trust, while first-time visitors quickly understand why it’s become a local favorite. Every visit reinforces the sense that Molos isn’t just serving food-it’s offering a culinary experience rooted in quality, passion, and attention to detail.

  • We have late lunch around 1pm and no reservation needed on weekend. The restaurant is not packed. I wouldn’t say it’s top-notch but the food is good. The seafood tower is not as fresh as I think. The clam is good but the oyster and the lobster I would say it’s average. The mussels doesn’t taste like fresh, it’s more like those defrosted one that it’s doesn’t have a “fresh” taste. So to me it’s not worth the price of $95. I would skip it next time. The octopus is super tender with the ink sauce at the bottom. The oyster risotto is good even though I can hardly taste any oyster. The black sea bass is fine. For the filet mignon we want it medium but i think it’s a bit overcooked. It’s average to me but the creamy thing next to the filet mignon is surprising. The view and vibe is great. I think night view probably better than day time view but I still enjoy the bright sunlight. Seating is comfortable.

  • Absolutely gorgeous, one of a kind venue. On the pergola, it feels like you’re sitting on the water. It was a bit windy so we moved inside, where it was beautiful as well with floor to ceiling windows viewing the water. The staff were great, the food and drinks were excellent. We especially enjoyed how fresh the fish is. Overall a great, classy experience.

  • Milo’s is a riverfront Greek Restaurant in weehowken NJ . The ambiance is excellent with its river front setting ,. We were a large party and had a reservation , the restaurant was full and very lively . The service was attentive and abundant , The food was excellent and prepared to perfection . We had a great time , it was pricy although Being in New Jersey probably expected with the amount of alcohol we consumed . I would recommend it if you are staying at a hotel or an apartment on the Hudson whilst visiting New York

  • One of the best Hudson River views in the area. The dining room overlooks the water, and the atmosphere feels calm and upscale without being stuffy. Our dishes were flavorful and fresh, and the service was consistently friendly and attentive.

  • Rating here a solid 4.6 with room for improvement. Came here to celebrate a birthday. Made dinner reservations but arrived late. They were accommodating. We were seated by the window and enjoyed the nighttime view of the water and NYC which was lovely. We weren't super hungry so we decided on appetizers and drinks. We ordered (2) Greek salad ($44), crab cake ($26), filet mignon souvlaki ($28), hummus and crudite ($16), Baika caviar ($80), lobster ($56), and several drinks. Our bill was roughly over $400, with a 20% tip included. At first glance, the place is beautifully located right above the water. Went with family to enjoy the view and food. Everything was delicious and fresh. The Greek salad however, we thought would have had lettuce, it's mostly tomatoes. The vinaigrette was tasty, not too oily. The only thing we would order less of. My mom loved the filet mignon, it was tender and juicy. Crab cake could have had more lumps of crab and fewer fillers, but also tasty. Hummus was yummy and creamy. Had a nice acidity. OK, so I've never had caviar and wanted to splurge - as if it was my birthday.. lol it wasn't. As a first timer, it was delicious. It's like sea salt brined soft tapioca pearls. If that could give you an idea. What made it fun to eat was the toppings. It came with blinis (mini fluffy pancakes), crème fraîche (not so sour, sour cream), red onions or shallots, crumbled egg whites, boiled egg yolks, and chives. The combination is divine. But honestly, could it be the hype of it all. Well, we felt fancy eating it! The other star of the show was that lobster fettuccine. We decided last minute to share a plate. Oh my! The sauciness in the pasta, rich tomato flavors, and huge lumps of lobster meat. I mean this was scrumptious. My mom especially loved it. We wrapped it up with a honey cake slice for the birthday girl. The only downside to that dessert was, per the menu, it is to be served with a cream but got grapes instead.. That said, it was a creamy, lightly sweetened cake. Reminded me somehow of the chocolate almond cake I love so much from IKEA, but I digress. Overall, it was a nice dining experience. Loved the mixed crowd here. It was welcoming and not too pretentious. Some small setbacks were that our waiter wasn't so attentive to the point where we had to get the attention of other waiters for help. He did however have time to chit chat with other fellas at the bar. And lastly, advising the hostess that we had a birthday, she made note of it on their system, but no acknowledgement of the birthday occurred. Totally brought down the points for me. But the staff were generally friendly. Management, I don't necessarily have feedback. I'll blame it on a busy night. I would return here for brunch, or a date night.
